I never truly understood why Amy was using a car. Like she has been seen before to keep up with everyone else on her feet, hell even Eggman for that matter doesn't need his Egg mobile, the man is somehow able to still outrun Sonic before he jumps in the latest Death Egg robot he built for the 7th time.

Sorry for the tangent, needed to address these very important and damning issues on the inconsistent lore of a wise cracking blue hedgehog.
