Not bad! Not bad at all, loving the retro style and the idea of having no lives gives it a nice fresh spin compared to most 2D platformers that tend to do the same song and dance, that's not a bad thing by any means, but it allows the game to stand out more!
(I may also add that you need a lot of patience with this game, it'll test your reflexes and muscle memory!)
Though I ask, is there a purpose for the points that you collect? They don't really seem to do much other than add to your current score, maybe giving it a currency function to add upgrades for powerups or something could give it more of a reason for me to collect them!
